These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of The Fast Track Author Club (the “Club,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including the website at https://fasttrackauthor.com, the members’ area, and all content, lessons, and materials we provide. By joining or using the Club, you agree to these Terms.
01What the Club is
The Club is an educational membership. For a recurring monthly fee, you receive access to teaching content — including the book, video teachings, podcast lessons, articles, and a six-month roadmap — designed to help you learn how to write, prepare, publish, and promote a book.
The Club is not a publishing, editing, design, coaching, or done-for-you service, and it does not guarantee that your book will be written, published, sold, or achieve any particular result. Any hands-on publishing or marketing services are separate offerings with their own terms.
02Membership, billing & renewal
- Membership is billed on a recurring monthly basis at the price shown at checkout, charged to your payment method on file until you cancel.
- Payments are processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card details.
- Your membership renews automatically each month unless canceled before the next billing date.
- You can cancel anytime from your account or by contacting us at hello@authorschool.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of your current paid period.
- Except where required by law, monthly fees are non-refundable. Any refund or trial policy we choose to offer will be stated at checkout.
- We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice; changes apply to future billing periods.
03Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Membership is for a single individual and is personal to you. Please don’t share your login or account access with others.
04Acceptable use & license
We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license to access and use the Club content for your own learning while your membership is active. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, publicly share, or create derivative works from the content, except as expressly allowed (for example, downloading the book for your personal use).
05Intellectual property
All Club content — text, video, audio, images, the book, worksheets, and the Fast Track Author name and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
06Third-party services
We use trusted third parties to operate the Club, including Stripe for payments and an email provider for account and member communications. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
07Disclaimers
The Club and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis for educational purposes only. We make no warranties, express or implied, and specifically disclaim any guarantee of writing, publishing, sales, income, or other outcomes. Your results depend on your own effort and many factors outside our control.
08Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Club. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
09Termination
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the content. On termination, your license to use the content ends.
10Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the Club after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Texas will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Club, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
